Evening Housekeeping Attendant (Sports Club LA/Washington DC)

Washington, DC | Housekeeping

Sports Club/LA has a rich history of over 30 years as the gold standard in our industry. We operate seven luxury clubs across the country and support over 30,000 Members in achieving their health and fitness goals. Sports Club/LA offers its employees access to a range of benefits which may include, complimentary access to our Clubs, health coverage, flexible spending accounts, a retirement program and more.

Primary Responsibilities
-Clean and sanitize all facility bathrooms (including toilets, vanities, faucets, etc.)
-Clean all mirrors and glass throughout the facility
-Vacuum carpet and dry floors in all areas and under furniture
-Sweep and mop floors
-Dust all furniture, wood, window sills, light fixtures, decorations, pictures, etc.
-Empty all trashcans throughout the facility, (including sanitary napkin and tampon receptacle bins.)
-Wipe and clean gymnasium floor and padding
-Clean elevators
-Spot clean finger prints on walls, glass
-Pick up debris from planters
-Identify malfunctioning equipment and communicate these items to Leads.
-Clean Fitness Equipment and other areas, as needed.

-Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
-High school graduate or equivalent
-Experience in a similar environment preferred or equivalent experience
-Use of personal safety equipment required
-Frequent use of chemicals, including solvents, adhesives, and cleaners
-Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, blood, or bodily fluids
-Requires a wide range of constant physical activities, including but not limited to: sitting, walking, bending, standing, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching
-Occasional exposure to moderate to loud noise.
-Frequent repetitive movements
-Frequent movement, lifting or carrying objects with weight up to 30 lbs.
-Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of heavy items
-Requires close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception
