BLITZ Endurance class is designed to make your cardiovascular system more efficient. Training your aerobic system strengthens your heart, reduces the risk for diseases related to obesity, and lowers both your cholesterol and blood pressure. In place of a traditional cardio workout on the treadmill or elliptical, our BLITZ coaches will have you and your classmates burning calories while performing multiplanar and functional exercises designed to help condition your heart and make you sweat.
BLITZ Strength class will progressively overload and stress your muscles to give you a leaner and stronger body. When properly performed, strength training can provide significant functional benefits and improvement in your overall health and well-being. These classes will not only increase your muscle, tendon and ligament strength and improve joint function and balance, but will also help to increase bone density, metabolism and lean body mass. During class our Blitz coaches will take you through a smart and safe program to strengthen your whole body, with a special focus on the posterior chain muscles of your back, glutes and hamstrings while adjusting every exercise to your personal needs and abilities.
BLITZ Power class is meant to develop speed, agility and explosiveness. This training style is similar to strength exercises except it adds speed components to the workouts. Everyone, including non-athletes, can benefit from performing power exercises that will strengthen your body, improve muscle recruitment, shorten your reaction time and improve balance. During the BLITZ Power class, under a watchful eye of our skilled coaches, you will be introduced to a variety of full-body movements and Olympic lifts that will teach your body to move as one cohesive unit — a crucial component of any successful functional training program.
